Why Port Hedland NOW?
Port Hedland is one of those unique town’s that boasts a camaraderie and unique memories that is hard to beat and will certainly never be forgotten by those who spent any measurable time there.
This site was set up originally to support the 40th year of Hedland Senior High School Reunion but we know it will evolve into a site that all Hedlanders, those still living in Hedland and those who have moved on, can come to and perhaps “reconnect”.
The saying goes “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” and Port Hedland is often seen through dusty eyes. So ask a local what they see when you visit the rocky outcrops on the foreshore or share a beer with friends. Port Hedland is more than a transfer of wealth to the stock market and royalties to the Government, just ask the locals.
